Our Arctic expedition Sailing Yacht: Your Home on the Arctic Sea
Hi there! We’re Maria, Ulrik, and Ramoncito. We run a small, unique travel company offering unforgettable Ski & Sail adventures in Northern Norway during winter, and island hopping in the Lofoten Islands during summer. Our yacht isn’t just a business, it’s our home, and we love sharing real, personal experiences with our guests in these beautiful surroundings.

Our Home, Your Adventure
meet jolly
"SY Jolly" is a well-proven 1990 model Långedrag 49ft steel cruiser. This Dutch-built boat has a unique, strong and spacious design that makes her comfortable to sail and enjoy time on. Jolly has been fully upgraded since 2016 and is now ship shape and ready for new adventures.

Jolly has a large cockpit and high freeboard that offers a protected steering position when the seas get rough. When the sun is shining, her huge deck is perfect for relaxation and sunbathing. Inside, starting from the bow, she has two spacious double-bed private suites. These beds can be separated into singles with a canvas wall if needed. The social area, located in the centre of the yacht, is fully equipped and ready to prepare delicious healthy meals. We make our own world famous "captain bread" almost every day.
In the aft (stern) is the Captain's cabin on the starboard side, and a three single-bed crew cabin on the port side. The two aft cabins share a bathroom with a shower, toilet and a small washing machine.
Built heavy for ocean crossings, Jolly takes some wind to get moving. We calculate with 5 knots for our passage planning. However, with her favourite wind (between 16-24 knots) she easily reaches cruising speed of 6,5-8 knots and gives us a comfortable ride.
Jolly is constantly maintained, and we pride ourselves on keeping her and our equipment in the best possible conditions.

We’ve set up our boat to feel like a true home at sea warm, welcoming, and surprisingly spacious. There’s room to stretch out, share stories, dry your gear, and feel good no matter what the weather’s doing outside.
your boutique floatel ;)

They are incredibly experienced sailors (seeing as the boat is also their home) and at no point did we feel like tourists being shepherded on a generic tour -- rather, they tailored the trip every step of the way to what the group wanted and how we felt.
