Their love for the mountains is matched by a true gift for making people feel welcome, and their presence is a big part of what makes this experience so special.

Miriam Marco sánchez

Say hello to Miriam Marco Sánchez, an absolute powerhouse in the world of mountaineering and the Director of the Spanish National Alpinism Team! Yep, that’s right—she’s leading one of Spain’s most elite teams, and we’re super proud to have her as part of our crew. This isn’t just any achievement—it’s the result of years of grit, determination, and a love for adventure that knows no limits.

But Miriam’s story doesn’t stop there. With a degree in Forestry Engineering and years of hands-on experience in everything from alpine rescue to heli-skiing, she’s done it all. Whether she’s guiding expeditions in Antarctica, opening new climbing routes in Greenland and Saudi Arabia, or creating inspiring documentaries about her adventures, Miriam is always pushing boundaries. She’s also passionate about coaching the next generation of alpinists, sharing her knowledge and love for the mountains with the world.

As the first female UIAGM-certified High Mountain Guide in Spain, Miriam embodies resilience, leadership, and boundless curiosity. She’s not just a guide—she’s a trailblazer.
